Latest Plans

Since 2024, the project team have been carrying out wide-ranging consultation with local politicians, community groups, nearby residents and businesses. Following the submission of the latest plans in December 2025, RER held two public drop-in events on 31 January and 3 February to update the community on how the development has changed in response to the feedback received. In total, 50 members of the public came to these events.

Building A
  • The tower has been slimmed down
  • Its crown has been redesigned.
  • Redesigned to complement Building A from the street front.
  • Reduced footprint and new brickwork to complement other buildings.
  • Reimagined as the prime peninsula landmark with an attractive curved design.
  • The building height has been reduced by five storeys.
  • Rotated to accommodate expanded creekside public space.
  • Redesigned to complement neighbouring buildings including a more rounded design.
  • The building has been reshaped and will be more attractive from the street front.
