The Site

The site sits on the major junction of Deptford Church Street and Deptford Bridge and Greenwich High Road as well as the DLR viaduct and the creek. The site includes 650m of waterfront that is currently fenced off and has been inaccessible to the public for many years.

Most of the buildings on site today were part of Lewisham College but the educational facilities were relocated in July 2024. Goldsmiths University currently occupy two of the buildings on the site.
